can someone tell me where i can get ebooks online either free or to buy? i want books that are fairly popular. i like reading mysteryies and chick lit
Though I've never bought any, you can buy some e-books at:
http://www.ereader.com/servlet/mw
http://www.fictionwise.com/eBooks/MysteryCrimeeBooks.htm?cache
http://www.booksonboard.com/?source=0D0S1I&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=ebooks
http://www.ebooks.com/
(among other places…)
If your library has a digital selection available online, you can borrow e-books with your library card. My library has a lot of newer and popular titles and mysteries. You could call your local library to ask or search for it online (which is how I found out about mine).
For free e-books (of public domain books), you can't beat Gutenberg. It allows you to download e-texts and sometimes audio editions.
I hope that helps.

Try Project Gutenberg, they have over 20,000 free books in the Project Gutenberg Online Book Catalog. Including My favorite The Monkey's Paw by W. W. Jacobs

You can read books online at http://www.worthyofpublishing.com. These are generally books that are so new, many have not yet been published. How it works is people can read, rate and comment on the submitted books online. You can see what books are popular, that may end up being published and potentially become next best sellers.
I hope this helps
